For those wondering just how powerful the processor for the Playstation VR is going to be, Sony is starting to clear that up. At the most recent AR/VR Vision Summit, Sony’s Richard Marks gave a presentation in which he talked about the speed and power gamers can expect when they finally get their hands on the device. Among the things that were talked about during the event was that the PSVR is going to be benefitting greatly thanks to the fact that it’s tethered to the PS4.

This might actually be a bit of a surprise when thinking about other VR tech such as the Oculus Rift. It turns out that other people who have been looking into what the PS4 can do have found that the console is actually as much as 60 percent faster than a similarly specced computer. Marks wasn’t actually the one who talked about how fast the device is going to go, but he did show off a number of different features.

The presentation was actually given quite a while ago, but it was just published in the form of a YouTube video just recently. The talk about how fast the device runs was actually posted by a Neogaf user named Man. Some market analysts believe the PlayStation VR could dominate when it finally launches. Check out the video below to see what Marks thinks about the PSVR.
