Pokemon GO

While Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are getting a lot looser with their mobile content of the beloved Pokemon IP, you can’t forget the original breakout hit they had on the platform, Pokemon GO. The game blew onto the scene and, while not quite where it was at its peak, it’s still doing crazy business. And now, they’re shaking up things as a familiar foe has resurfaced.

Team Rocket has seemingly returned in the form of Team GO Rocket. They’ve taken over Pokestops and corrupted Pokemon across the world. A mysterious leader also seems to have big plans for the entire globe. The event adds an extra narrative to the mobile catch’em all simulator as you must battle through the Team Rocket ranks to face off against this mysterious foe.

Pokemon GO is now available for all iOS and Android compatible devices. The Team GO Rocket event is live now, which you can check out below, and you can begin at anytime by interacting with a Team GO Rocket Grunt at a Pokestop that’s been taken over.
