For a few months there’s been teases that a big event was coming with Team Rocket in Pokemon GO, as grunts have been showing up to harass players as well as revealing of some high level members of the villainous group. Now, it’s finally here with Looming in the Shadows.
The Looming in the Shadows begins in Special Research with a task from Professor Willow to find Team Rocket and take them out one by one until eventually going against the iconic villain Giovanni. You’ll need to assemble pieces of the Rocket Radar to sniff out the various members of Team Rocket until you finally take them out. You can read more about the update through here.
Pokemon GO is available now for all compatible iOS and Android devices and the Looming in the Shadows is live now. It’s not the end of the game, though, as much anticipated Online Battles will be coming early next year.
