Pokemon Legends Z-A

Pokémon Legends: Z-A, the latest title in Game Freak’s long-running RPG series, is now available for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. A launch trailer is available, offering a quick look at its action and setting, which you can check out below.

Set in the Kalos Region’s Lumiose City, Z-A is a follow-up of sorts to Pokémon Legends: Arceus with the same combat system. You can seamlessly transition to capturing and battling wild Pokémon while also moving around in real time and issuing commands to your team. It adds some new features, though, including the Z-A Royale, a free-for-all against other trainers to ascend to rank A and have one’s wish granted.

There are also Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon that present significantly tougher challenges and Link Battles in multiplayer. For more details, check out our feature. Pokémon Legends: Z-A on the Switch 2 currently has an 80 Metascore on Metacritic based on 49 reviews, which is roughly the same as Pokémon Sword and Shield.
