RESTRICTIVE CONTROL OPTIONS
The inability to turn off motion controls is emblematic of how Pokemon forces very restrictive controls on players. Just as motion controls are necessary to play in console mode, handheld mode requires players to use gyroscopic controls for aiming and throwing Pokeballs. A simple option of maybe aiming with the analog stick and then throwing the Pokeball with a press of a button should have been an obvious inclusion. Right now, it’s a baffling omission. For players with motor disabilities, it’s flat out game-breaking.
