Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu

The upcoming Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee looks like it will be a nostalgic blast from the past, a loving homage to the original Pokemon games and anime, made to tug at as many heart strings as possible. This will continue through to the game’s villains too. Team Rocket will be returning for this batch of games, including Jesse and James from the anime, who previously had only ever starred in Pokemon Yellow.

This information comes to us courtesy of a brand new trailer for the game, which you can see for yourself below- this is a different trailer than the fantastic one from yesterday, which seemed tailor made to put a wistful sense of nostalgia in everyone who watched it. This one is almost as great, too- the game continues to look great each time they show it.

Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee will both be releasing exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on November 16. We recently went hands-on with it, and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that we are incredibly excited by what we saw and played. Read our impressions here.
