Pokemon Presents

With Pokemon Legends: Z-A finally receiving a release date, a new Nintendo Direct seems a given, perhaps sometime next month, according to rumors. Whether it happens or not, Nintendo has announced a new Pokemon Presents for July 22nd.

It should likely offer more information on the characters in Lumiose City while introducing old and new Pokemon, as is tradition. Unlike previous entries, Pokemon Legends: Z-A occurs entirely within the city where an urban redevelopment plan is underway. Though it’s a place where humans and Pokemon live side by side, there are still areas to enter and capture wild Pokemon in.

There’s also the Z-A Royale. Starting at night, the entire city becomes a big battleground, with players eliminating rival trainers and climbing the ranks. Those at the top can have their wish granted, which sounds a little too good to be true.

Pokemon Legends: Z-A launches on October 16th for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2.
