Pokemon Sun and Moon 3

Long have trainers in Pokemon been confined to battling one on one. In Pokemon Sun and Moon, you’ll finally be able to engage in battles with multiple trainers thanks to the Battle Royal feature.

As explained during Nintendo’s Treehouse stream, the Battle Royal feature supports up to four players. Each player has a team of up to three Pokemon and during each turn phase, they decide which Pokemon to attack and how. It’s entirely possible for teams to attack a single Pokemon or simply trade blows with one another. The winner is the trainer with the most number of Pokemon defeated and surviving Pokemon in their team. Customizable avatars help bring some extra panache to the battles.

Pokemon Sun and Moon is out on November 18th for the 3DS. What are your thoughts on the new Battle Royal feature? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming days.
