Pokemon Sun and Moon 3

During their Nintendo Direct presentation today, Nintendo revealed that early purchases of the upcoming Nintendo 3DS exclusive Pokemon Sun/Moon will be getting a free Pokemon- a Munchlax, that evolves into Pulverizing Snorlax, and holds a special Z-Move crystal that lets it perform a unique Z-Move, Pulverizing Pancake. The Munchlax also comes with certain moves that it would otherwise not have been able to learn, including Happy Hour and Hold Back.

Additionally, Nintendo also revealed another Alolan variant for an existing Pokemon- Alolan Rattata, a Dark type Rattata that evolved into being nocturnal, in response to predatory threats in its environment. These two new Pokemon were revealed in a new trailer for the game, that you can see for yourself below.

Pokemon Sun/Moon are the seventh mainline entry in the Pokemon series. They are due out later this year, on November 18 in North America and Japan, and on November 23 in Europe, in commemoration of the franchise’s 20th anniversary.
