Pokemon Sword and Shield and the Nintendo Switch have both been enjoying impressive sales for a number of weeks now, and they’ve maintained their momentum into this week as well. Both actually say an increase in sales (in fact, all games within the top 10 saw week-on-week growth in terms of sales).

Pokemon Sword and Shield sold over 231,000 units, while New Sakura Wars, which has been hotly anticipated in Japan for some weeks now, debuted in second place with over 140,000 copies sold. Meanwhile, Ring Fit Adventure retained last week’s No. 3 spot, selling over 57,000 copies, while Luigi’s Mansion 3 followed with over 48,000 copies sold. The rest of the top 10 is comprised of the usual suspects, including the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Minecraft, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Super Mario Maker 2,

On the hardware front, the Switch carried its impressive momentum from recent weeks, having moved over 236,000 units, showing healthy great over last week’s sales. The PS4, meanwhile, saw a dip in sales, selling just over 11,000 units as opposed to last week’s sales of over 41,000.
