Pokemon Sword and Shield will be the first mainline, original games to come to Nintendo Switch from the legendary franchise, and boy, is it going to be a big event no doubt. But it’s not the only big thing coming with the game. The game’s new addition to the system is the Gigantamax form that sees Pokemon grow to monster like levels, and today we saw that some classic Pokemon are going to get to grow up a lot.

In the latest issue of  CoroCoro magazine, it was reported that some Pokemon from the original 151 will be able to transform into the new giant mode. Pikachu, Charizard, Eevee, and Meowth will all get the ability. None of those are particularly surprising, except maybe Meowth, since they are some of the more iconic creatures in the longrunning series, but there you go (thanks to Serebii for transcribing and translations).

Pokemon Sword and Shield is slated to release November 15th only on the Nintendo Switch. For a quick look at the game’s wild area map and exploration features, go through here.
