Pokemon X & Y Saving Bug Revealed: Don’t Save in Lumiose City

Players saving in Lumiose City are finding their saves unresponsive upon reloading.

Despite already selling 4 million units since releasing on October 12th for Nintendo 3DS worldwide, Pokemon X & Y has been hit by a game breaking bug that is triggered when players try to save their game in Lumiose City. According to reports on forums and sites, saving in the area results in the game and handheld becoming unresponsive when you try to load the game again.

As of now, the bug has been reported in the Japanese and European releases of the game but it’s likely that even the North American version will be experiencing it. Thus far, there hasn’t been a way to retrieve the save file though you can over or delete it. Nintendo has not responded to reports of the bug as of yet, so players are being advised to not save their game in Lumiose City.
