EA has had a fairly busy day, announcing delays for Dragon Age: Inquisition – which will now come out in November – and Battlefield: Hardline – which is out in 2015. During a conference call for investors when EA presented its quarterly financial report, CEO Andrew Wilson revealed that a new Peggle game was in development by PopCap.

“A much-anticipated new Peggle game from PopCap is moving through a test period in preparation for launch,” according to Wilson, as reported by Polygon.

Peggle 2 released for the Xbox One in December 2013 and recently made its way to the Xbox 360. There could be a brand new game, perhaps the mobile free to play title that’s been in testing.

PopCap Games also brought out Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare for the Xbox One and Xbox 360, with the PC version releasing recently and an upcoming port out for the PS3 and PS4 next month. Stay tuned for more information on the next Peggle title.
