Prey Features Multiple Endings With “Wide Variance” – Lead Designer

Treat your fellow human nicely.

Arkane Studios is no stranger to alternate endings – both of its Dishonored titles have different endings depending on the circumstances. This formula will carry over to Prey, the upcoming RPG/FPS, but according to lead designer Ricardo Bare, there will be a “wide variance” in the same.

Speaking to GameSpot, Bare said that, “How you treat the human beings on the station matters. There are consequences throughout and at the end, especially for what you do with the survivors that you meet.

“There are definitely multiple endings – a wide variance. There’s two main branches, mostly centered around the fate of the space station and the survivors, but then within those branches, there’s tons of little permutations.”

Maybe there’s a way to side with the aliens and lead them on a rampage to Earth? Here’s hoping. Prey officially releases on May 5th for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Will you be picking it up? Let us know in the comments.
