By now most potential players of Arkane Studios’ upcoming Prey will know about the Talos I station and the ordeals that await. While the developer has clued us into the new Prey universe, including such elements as JFK surviving his assassination, the game’s latest trailer actually discusses the backstory behind TranStar Corporation. That’s the company that created Talos I.

Long story short, you play as Morgan Yu who awakens on Talos I to find it overrun by Typhon, an alien species that can shape-shift into any number of objects. Morgan will use these powers to his advantage while fighting off the Typhon and looking to avert disaster for humanity. Because if there’s one thing shape-shifting aliens can’t handle, it’s general peace and appreciation.

Prey is set to release in 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the latest trailer and the overall vibe of the universe? Let us know in the comments below.
