Project Prelude Rune Announced, A New Square RPG Headed By Tales Series Producer

Looks intriguing enough...

Legendary producer of the Tales of series Hideo Baba will be partnering with Square Enix to bring us a brand new RPG, for now titled Project Prelude Rune. Square Enix has established a new studio to work on this project, titled Studio Istolia.

“Studio Istolia further builds on Square Enix Group’s vision to create new intellectual properties alongside existing Square Enix studios,” the company about the new title said in a press release. They also released some concept art for it that you can see below- it looks pretty intriguing, though the aspect ratio of the art does make me question if this new game will be a mobile game.

For now, no additional details are confirmed about this title, including release date or platform, with Square only saying that they will come later. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for additional information on the title, as it comes and when it comes.
