Thought Sony had the market cornered on “Play Create Share”? Well, Microsoft Studios’ Dave McCarty took the stage at Microsoft’s E3 conference to announced “Project Spark,” a game which lets players create new games and entire worlds using Kinect.

Starting with a home base, every object is seemingly influenced by “cards” which showcase their different states. Using voice commands, the player can create entire weather systems, environments and more. A tablet can also be used to created roads in this world.a creation-driven game in which you design games and share them with other players.

Speaking of games, there’s a ton of things that can be created using Spark. A Limbo clone, a clone of Angry Birds, platformers, tower defense games, cooperative titles with multiple players fighting monsters, a musical simulation – the variety is staggering and quite amazing to be honest.

Stay tuned for more details. Hilarious as it sounds, we’re just getting started.
