Today Deep Silver and doublesix digital announced  Who Wants To Be A Video Game Millionaire? Special Edition, a booster pack designed to be the ultimate test of knowledge for gamers.

Put your years of puzzle solving, zombie-slaying and space-invading to the test; work your way through 600 questions spanning five decades of video games.

As with the popular TV programme, in Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Special Editions, contestants participate in the Fastest Finger First round, before taking on mountain of questions in the quest for that elusive virtual million. To help you on your way are the three classic lifelines: 50:50, Ask The Audience and Phone-A-Friend.

In addition, up to four friends can compete locally to outdo each other, with each person’s score dependent on their speed.

Available for a modest £1.99, or 240 Microsoft funbucks, from the PlayStation Store and the Xbox Live Marketplace respectively. On Steam, it can also be purchased for £2.49.

The Who Wants To Be A Video Game Millionaire? Special Edition will be available from July 18, 2012.

Who Wants To Be A Video Game Millionaire? Special Edition will be available to fans worldwide excluding North America, Canada and Mexico.
