Update: The Order 1886 developer Ru Weerasuriya has confirmed during the PlayStation Keynote that the demo will be more than 30 minutes long.

With only a few hours to go before Sony kicks off the PlayStation Experience, two industry insiders have hinted about what Sony might be showing off during the two day event. A lot of people, including us were extremely disappointed with the lackluster showing of The Order 1886 at The Game Awards. However according to trusted shinobi602 industry insider the trailer was just a taste of what’s in store at the PlayStation experience.

“The Order’s got a 45 minute hands-on demo on tomorrow’s showfloor for the public. This was just something quick put together for Geoff,” shinobi602 posted on Neogaf. 45 minutes is indeed a very long demo and hopefully a lot of gameplay videos will be released on Youtube. The Order 1886 has so far been all about graphics and vistas so let us hope that they will now show us some groundbreaking gameplay.

The Game Awards was a decent debut by Geoff Keighley. We liked the way he handled the presentation and most of the times, it was all about the games. But according to another insider, tidux, PlayStation Experience will be better than The Game Awards in terms of games. Let us hope that this indeed turns out to be true because Sony, in all honesty, is having a disappointing Q4.

We will keep you updated on more information regarding the upcoming PlayStation Experience event.
