'It's an eclectic bunch this month.'

The updated and refreshed monthly lineup for the Instant Game Collection, available to all PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita owners, as long as they are signed up for PlayStation Plus, will be revealed next week.

This comes directly from the source, as, responding to one concerned commenter on the PlayStation Blog, Sony’s Fred Dutton said, “No, not this week – it will be the week after. It’s looking like an eclectic list this month – should be something for everyone.”

This month marks the first time that the lineup for the PS+ hasn’t leaked ahead of time- normally, by this time each month, we have some leak or the other that gives us an indication of what to expect.

What Dutton means when he said an ‘eclectic bunch’ is anyone’s guess. That, coupled with the lack of leaks, can mean one of two things- either the lineup is extraordinarily good (possibly ramped up by Sony in response to Microsoft’s own revamped Games with Gold program), and they have doubled down on the leaks, or… it’s a bunch of nothing.

We’ll know soon enough.
