The recently released PS Vita firmware upgrade 1.65 which took care of the annoying notifications problem has been taken down temporarily by Sony due to a “technical fault.”
Those who’ve already installed the update will remain unaffected and won’t have a problem. But those who haven’t done so won’t be able to until Sony re-releases the upgrade.
“PS Vita system software update 1.65 has been taken down temporarily due to a technical fault,” Sony explained on the PS Blog. “For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal. We will notify you once the latest system software update is available to download again.”
We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way, so stay tuned!
