PS3 Firmware 3.73 now available

Posted By | On 18th, Oct. 2011

Sony has just greenlighted another PS3 firware update, taking the total to 3.73. It doesn’t seem mandatory, so you can download it or choose not to. There haven’t been many features mentioned, as you should expect by now but this is what they said.

“A new, non-mandatory PS3 firmware update, v3.73, is now available. Stability during use of certain PS3 format software has been improved.”

We don’t know what that PS3 format software is, and Sony should have been a bit clear regarding this, but maybe it’s for Uncharted 3 or some other software that had a few problems on the PS3. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
