Everybody's Gone to the Rapture

The Chinese Room’s PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture is apparently almost done- as a matter of fact, the game is now rapidly approaching internal beta, and the developers are hard at work identifying bugs and fixing them up, polishing the game so it is ready for release.

‘[We are] counting down to the beta!’ they said on Twitter, before adding, ‘[Our] time [is] split now between bug fixing and polish and the big task of integrating @jessicacurry2 ‘s amazing soundtrack.’ They also took this opportunity to post some contract work for a freelancing UK based video editor, indicating that the game might finally soon be getting a trailer.

That would be a good thing- the game has looked intriguing ever since its reveal, but not getting to see more of it has led to a gradual loss of interest and hype. A well made trailer, alongside some nice gameplay footage (or even better, a demo) might be just the thing the game needs to reignite popular imagination again.
