Hokuto Ga Gotoku: fist of the north star

Sega’s new commercial for its upcoming Fist of the North Star adventure game, Hokuto Ga Gotoku, wants Japanese players to scream for them. In an open casting call to fans, Sega revealed that fans will have a special part to play in the Yakuza-like anime adaptation.

The commercial shows protagonist Kenshiro taking on the usual goons, but the video puts out the call domestically for fans in Japan to go to their local DAM Karaoke to possibly contribute to the game. From December 18th to January 14th, Sega is looking for the best death cries, groans and screams that fans can muster. Those with the most soulful death yells and bloodcurdling of screams have the chance to be included in the game, credited with the nickname they use at DAM when they record.

The game currently has no Western release announced, but launches in Japan on February 22nd, 2018 just for PS4. You can see the new commercial below.
