Ratchet and Clank looks to be, in my estimation, the best first party game that is launching on the PS4 this year. Sure, Uncharted 4 looks good, but it’s just more Uncharted, and it doesn’t feel like too long ago that we got the previous one; Horizon looks great, but one must always be wary of hyping a Guerrilla Game. The Last Guardian, I refuse to believe will be out this year until it is actually out, and Gravity Rush 2 is a follow up to a game that was very flawed to begin with.
But Ratchet and Clank looks incredible- it’s a remake of the original title which kickstarted the series, it looks like it will refresh and revitalize the series which had started to go off track on the PS3, and it just is a gorgeous game too.
