Although The Last Guardian has been delayed, the game looks like it will be well worth the wait. By the looks of this brand new gameplay footage, the game runs pretty smoothly on the PS4 and shows off the game’s lighting, graphics quality and particle effects.
The developers seem to have done an amazing job with Trico (the griffin like creature) as he helps the boy scale up walls. We can also notice that Trico sheds his feathers as he scales up walls, showing us the incredible detail that the developers put into this game.
Trico doesn’t feel like another mindless AI, instead it feels like a character with emotion, helping the boy solve various puzzles. Solving puzzles seem to be a lot fun, mainly because you can command Trico to help you out in certain sections.
The Last Guardian launches December 6th exclusively on the PlayStation 4 in North America, Japan, Australia, and Europe.
