The Order: 1886 is an upcoming Sony exclusive title which will be released on the PlayStation 4 in 2014. The game will center around an alternate timeline in which an age old order of knights is fighting to protect humankind from a scourge of half-breed monsters.
Apparently, The Order: 1886 has been in development since 2010 at development company Ready At Dawn. At this year’s past E3 2013, Sony announced that they had purchased the The Order: 1886 Intellectual Property and planned to release it for the PS4 in 2014.
In terms of this most recent set of screenshots we aren’t treated to anything particularly new in terms of what to expect graphically, but what we are given is more of a sense of what to expect in terms of game play. The Order: 1886 more or less looks to feature your classic action adventure style of gaming. Either way, we are excited for more updates, as this one has been in development for coming on 4 years now.
