PS4 Firmware Update 4.50 Releasing Tomorrow- Rumor

As well as PSVR 2.40.

It looks like the long awaited PlayStation 4 firmware update 4.50 may be releasing tomorrow- at least if a certain Sony customer service rep is to be believed. Reddit user Finch-Tench apparently recently got in touch with Sony customer support about an issue he was having regarding image drift on his PlayStation VR, and he was informed that the update, that launches on March 7, should address that issue.

Apparently, this PS4 update 4.50 will also be accompanied by a PlayStation VR firmware update to 2.40- but no more specifics were given here. Given that as of right now, Sony has still not announced the new firmware update’s launch tomorrow, and that today as a business day is almost over, it’s hard to tell whether or not to take this rumor seriously. Of course, there is always the possibility that Sony just goes for a stealth launch.

If there is any more news on the PS4 firmware update, you can be sure that we will let you know. Stay tuned to GamingBolt.
