PS4 Review: Hardware And Games

With just two days to go for the North American launch of the PlayStation 4, several publications have already gone live with the reviews of the PlayStation 4 hardware and games. Given the fact that there is much to explore, our very own reviews of the hardware and games will be going live November 16th onward.

Sony have seen nothing but positive feedback from the gaming community ever since they revealed the PlayStation 4 back in February this year. Thanks to a series of PR disasters and some odd restrictions by Microsoft for its Xbox One, Sony literally grabbed the opportunity by doing nothing unique and still managing to become a better option among the eyes of the gaming community.

That isn’t to say there’s no point in getting the PlayStation 4. Several highly anticipated indie titles will be making their debut on Sony’s console. These include The Witness, Volume, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture (which is exclusive), Octodad: Dadliest Catch, and many more. This also includes titles that aren’t planned for an Xbox One release including Transistor, Hotline Miami 2, etc. PlayStation Plus will also ensure a steady supply of free games, and Sony will also be looking to introduce a ton of free to play titles to the console. Let’s not forget about Gaikai functionality arriving next year.

But as it is now, is the system worth it? In order to know, let’s take a look at what some publications have said in their reviews for the PS4.
