Ask anyone what tops their wishlist for next-gen consoles, and chances are, they’ll mention a higher, much better resolution. 4K has been growing in popularity for some time now, and though it’s not yet the current standard, it almost definitely will be within the next few years. As such, we expect the PS5 to have a standard 4K resolution. And really, it’s quite likely that it will. The PS4 Pro and the Xbox One X have taken big steps towards 4K, and their respective successors are surely going to follow suit.
