PSN May Be Having Issues on PS Vita

This is terrible news for all five Vita owners.

Christmas is almost here, and true to form, it appears as though issues with online networks have begun to crop up- according to The Games Cabin, PSN seems to be hitting a wall of error messages and disconnections, especially on the PS Vita. The issue seems to be more prevalent with European PSN accounts, but it seems to have hit American PSN too.

As of right now, the PS4 seems to be accessing PSN fine – again, we checked with European and American PSN accounts – although the PS3 seems to be running into errors on its end too. Then again, the PS3’s new PSN Store app is known to be buggy and glitchy, so it’s hard to tell if this is on the network end or the client end.

Regardless, for all five of you Vita owners out there, if you plan on playing on your beloved, under-appreciated Sony handheld tonight, the best course of action is to play a single player game. Single player experiences are what the Vita excels at the most, anyway- might we suggest playing Persona 4 Golden?
