Quantic Dream Issues Statement On Recent Reports: “They Are A Smear Campaign”

They categorically deny all allegations.

Posted By | On 06th, Feb. 2018

There have been several reports recently about Quantic Dream allegedly being a toxic work environments, with several employees anonymously alleging harassment at the studio, including against David Cage himself. Quantic Dream has formally issued a response to these allegations (again) on Twitter, categorically refuting and denying all of them.

In its statement, Quantic Dream notes that it has been the target of a “veritable smear campaign” by “some outlets”, “based on slanderous remarks whose reliability and origin of the sources raise questions.” Whereas it is to be remembered that these allegations against Quantic Dream are just that, allegations, one should also remember that they were unearthed by none other than Le Monde, which is one of the most respected newspapers in the world. It’s not just “some outlet”.

If these allegations are true, I hope those responsible get the comeuppance they deserve. If not, I hope those who raised this issue without merit get theirs. However, as always, I am inclined to believe the victims until I have reason not to.
