Detroit Become Human

Quantic Dreams took the stage to announce a brand new project coming exclusively to the PlayStation 4 at the Paris Games Week Sony press briefing today. The game is called Detroit, and it follows the story of an Android who escapes from her factory and develops human feelings and emotions. Like a lot of similar stories in science fiction literature and movies, Detroit will tackle questions about exactly what makes us human, and what right we have to judge other sentient life.

Detroit looks great, as all Quantic Dream games do. The title is based on the short that Quantic Dream released four years ago, and continues and builds upon its story. And really, I am not even usually a fan of David Cage’s games, or their style of game making, but I am really looking forward to Detroit here- it looks great, and the themes that it is tackling look to be poignant, meaningful, and something that meaningfully resonate with me.
