Mercury Steam, the guys best known for Castlevania: Lords of Shadow and its sequels, are now working on a brand new game- Raiders of the Broken Planet is a brand new multiplayer online asymmetric adventure, which merges and blends cinematic shooting, brawling, and strategy.

The new game will be self published by Mercury Steam- a company spokesman commented “We saw an exciting opportunity with this title to take advantage of digital distribution and offer the game at a much lower entry point than would otherwise have been possible. This model also allows us to work closely with gamers to create something that they can help shape too.”

Raiders of the Broken Planet will have a single player mode as well; that said, the primary attraction here is obviously the multiplayer. There will be multiple betas held for the game over the coming year, before it finally launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
