With so many multiplayer shooters receiving “sequels” over the years, including Overwatch 2 and Counter-Strike 2, Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege may be next in line. Leaker Frax recently posted on Twitter about Siege X, the shooter’s upcoming tenth season. It will reportedly include a graphical update to textures and modes alongside an engine overhaul.

The alleged reveal is coming during the Six Invitational 2025, which ends on February 16th. When it could release is unknown but Frax followed this up with another tweet, reporting that Siege X is actually Rainbow Six Siege 2 and not Year 10 of Siege.

It’s allegedly out “sometime in the future,” with the leaker confident that it arrives after Year 10, Season 1. Whether it will replace the current Siege like Counter-Strike 2 did for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is unknown. Stay tuned for more potential details and updates.

Rainbow Six Siege is available for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
