Rainbow Six: Siege

Rainbow Six: Siege’s slow burn hype cycle (quite unlike what most Ubisoft games get) continues. The newest trailer for the game introduces yet another real world counter terrorism operatives, in this case, the German GSG9 unit. The new video takes us into the unit’s operations, while also giving us a possible glance at how that might all translate into the game as well.

It’s all very exciting, considering that this gives the impression of a game that takes authenticity seriously- in turn implying that it might play far more realistically than other shooters on the market. Rainbow Six: Siege could well be the breakout squad based multiplayer shooter of this generation- or at least manage to make slower paced, less arcadey shooters viable for the mass market, at any rate.

You can check out the video for yourself below. Rainbow Six: Siege launches on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC this December. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
