Ratchet and Clank HD Collection Officially Confirmed by Insomniac

The previously leaked and rumoured Ratchet and Clank HD Collection has now been officially confirmed by Insomniac.

The collection will include the first three games of the series that were originally released on the PS2, namely Ratchet and Clank, Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, confirmed Insomniac CEO Ted Price via the  to confirm the Ratchet & Clank Collection.

The remaster will be handled by Idol Minds, and will feature upgraded 1080p visuals, 3D support and three platinum Torphies, and the competitive multiplayer mode from Up Your Arsenal will also be included.

It will be releasing on the PS3 in North America in fall and in Europe in spring. Insomniac says that the delayed North American release is due to the fact that they have something “very special” planned for the region to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ratchet and Clank.
