Ratchet and Clank: This Comparison Video Shows Graphical Improvement on PS4 over PS2

Even though next year’s PlayStation 4 exclusive Ratchet and Clank is not a remake of the original game on the PlayStation 2 as much as it is a retelling or a re-imagining, it still will, in a lot of places, follow the same beats and hit the same notes that the original game did.

And so, to drive home further the point of this game’s gorgeous graphics (seriously, have you seen it? It looks like a Pixar movie, and this time for real), we get this comparison video, which shows us the graphics of the PS2 game with the PS4 game, side by side, comparing how similar areas look across the two games.

The result? Not very similar at all! The PS4 game legitimately appears to be a few generations ahead of the PS2 game, and this video serves to hammer home the point that, Uncharted or Horizon be damned, this might be the most good looking game that there is on the PS4.
