Earlier today at their Digital Days event, Ubisoft announced a sequel to their successful smartphone and tablet adventure, Rayman Jungle Run. The sequel, Rayman Fiesta Run, will take place in a wacked out, fiesta world, which will have Rayman reaching for cocktail umbrellas, jumping on limes and punching piñatas.

Here are some of the game’s key features:

  • Over 75 new levels across four brand new worlds.
  • New powers such as swimming, shrinking into a miniature version of Rayman, and the all powerful Super Punch technique
  • All new challenges in Invasion Mode, which features even more enemies and traps
  • New and updated graphics
  • The ability to share you achievements on Facebook, and to follow your friends on the world map
  • Collect Lums to power up and get rewards, and achieve a perfect level

Rayman Jungle Run won the App Store’s Best of 2012 award, which means that we can expect nothing but the best in tablet and smart phone gaming from Rayman Fiesta Run.
