Rayman Legends Delayed for PlayStation Vita

Releasing on September 13th to make time for extra polish.

Rayman Legends
Even though Rayman Legends is now available on Wii U (finally), Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in North America after being delayed initially to make way for a larger range of platforms, Ubisoft has confirmed that the PlayStation Vita release has been delayed.

The PS Vita version will be releasing on September 13th, with a Ubisoft representative stating to PocketGamer that the delay occurred “in order to apply the final level of polish gamers expect from a Rayman game”. Given that the Vita version will have touch-based controls, two bonus costumes and five exclusive extra maps, it somehow makes sense. Given that the game has been delayed for so long that any additional delays, that too for two weeks, don’t affect us anymore.

Regardless, the console version of Rayman Legends is already available in North America and will be releasing in Europe on August 30th. Check out our official review here for more information on the gameplay.
