I have the highest respect for Team ICO now. Not due to the fact they make some great games but they did something which very few publishers and developers do. They listened to us…the fans…the gamers. By giving the remakes of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, they have not only proved they are good listeners but someone who actually respects the passion of video games and video gamers.

Through this article we pay homage to the upcoming HD release of ICO and Shadow of the Colossus on the PlayStation 3 by presenting you 16 Epic moments from Shadow of the Colossus and as you must have guess by the title these 16 moments are nothing but 16 epic colossal battles which were a representation of Guts, Glory and Scale.

Let’s take a look:

Epic Moment Number 1: The Minotaur

I remember when I first came across this large monster; I was wondering how on earth I will ever take this guy out. I was a complete noob in 2005 and to be honest with you guys, afraid of taking on this huge fifty feet Minotaur. But then after numerous attempts I was able to take this colossus out. Now it seems so easy, back then it was so tough. But it’s pointless to say that the first colossus was pretty easy.

Epic Moment: Your first sense of scale.

Epic Moment Number 2: Taurus Major

After beating the first colossus, I was so excited. I started speaking to myself that this game was so different than any other games I have played in the last decade. Thereafter I went with my quest to fight the second one, Taurus Major.  You have to use your bow and arrow to bring this HUGE bull to its knees. Thereafter the rest as they say is history…I just kicked its butt.

Epic Moment: Bulls can be huge. Very huge!

Epic Moment Number 3: Earth Knight

One of the bigger colossi that you will encounter in the game, The Knight was pretty scary at first sight but the trick behind this battle was to lure the colossus so that he hit his huge hammer on the metallic plate placed at the centre of the arena and take the fight ahead from there.

Epic Moment: Wander doing a Kratos to take out the Colossus
