Reanimal

Tarsier Studios teased its new horror IP in gruesome fashion, and at Gamescom Opening Night Live, it finally revealed the name: Reanimal. The story focuses on a brother and sister who venture to save their friends and escape a terrifying island. Check out the reveal trailer below.

The gameplay is highly reminiscent of Little Nightmares 1 and 2, with the duo exploring haunting, dark environments. Various horrors emerge, including a massive creature pursuing them on what seems to be a comically small tricycle. Its scale is impressive, with extensive draw distances and surreal environments on this bizarre island.

Reanimal doesn’t have a release window, but it’s coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Like the upcoming Little Nightmares 3, online co-op is supported, allowing two players to work together. However, it also sports local play, though you can still go it solo. Stay tuned for more details from the title and upcoming announcements at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
