Red Dead Online

Red Dead Online is looking to be the next pillar to Rockstar’s continued success. Officially out of beta now, the online component to Red Dead Redemption 2 has already gotten some fairly large updates, and there’s nothing slowing this wild horse down anytime soon. This week we’re getting The Wild Animals Challenge, The Head for the Hills Showdown mode, and a host of bonuses for current and future players.

First up, you can test just how good of a hunter you are with The Wild Animals Challenge. This is a challenge where you’ll be rewarded for the bigger animals you takedown with special bonuses and prizes for the deadliest predators. Offensive attacks are disabled against players, so you don’t have to worry about getting shot down- it’s all about the animals.

The next big thing is The Head for the Hills Showdown, where players take turns making a run to a safe house as they are hunted by others. This is one mode where you won’t escape offensive fire as you mad dash against your foes. Along with that come bonuses for A Land of Opportunities missions for current and new players. You can check out all the details here.

Red Dead Redemption 2, which contains Red Dead Online, is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
