Recent leaks have claimed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to receive a release on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2, and another prominent leaker has now corroborated those claims.
Speaking during a recently uploaded podcast episode, NateTheHate claimed that Red Dead Redemption 2 is likely to be announced for the Nintendo Switch 2 at some point soon, likely during a Nintendo Direct presentation, alongside which PS5 and Xbox Series X/S updates will also be announced for the acclaimed 2018 open world epic.
When asked about when the game will release for those new platforms, the leaker claimed a late summer or early fall window looks likely- which means we could be looking at a September/October release window, if this is indeed accurate.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. As of March 31, it has sold over 74 million units worldwide.
