Remedy, the makers of Max Payne, Alan Wake, and Quantum Break, will be showing their new cinematic action game, tentatively titled “Project7”, at E3 this year. Publisher 505 Games announced it has picked up the game, which is due for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC (yep, Remedy has returned to being fully multiplatform again, after over a decade of Xbox exclusivity), and will be showcasing it at E3.

Press will also get the chance to actually go hands on with the game, which in turn seems to indicate that the game is in a pretty advanced stage of completion- at least enough for some vertical slices to be playable, if nothing else. It remains to be seen whether or not the new title will be a return to form for the studio, whose last outing Quantum Break is generally considered to have been a disappointment.

E3 begins this June- whenever Project7 is revealed, you can bet we will be there to update you.
