Remnant 2

Gunfire Games has yet to date Remnant 2, its follow-up to the surprise 2019 hit, but it did receive a brand new trailer at the Guerrilla Collective Showcase. Set decades later, Ward 13 and Earth are recovering from The Root’s invasion. However, it’s far from beaten, and you must venture to other worlds to destroy it once and for all.

Several weapons are displayed, from swords, throwing axes and flails to rifles, machine guns and even a bow. You can upgrade them in multiple ways, changing their looks significantly (as seen with the various rifle upgrades). There are several threatening bosses, but players can use the new Archetype system to even the odds, whether it’s defying death as the Challenger, managing a dog companion as the Handler or the fast-firing Gunslinger.

Remnant 2 is out in Summer 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Stay tuned for more details and updates, and in the meantime, check out this trailer, which showcases Ward 13 and the Labyrinth.
