After revealing Remnant 2’s Gunslinger, Handler, Challenger and Medic, Gunfire Games has showcased the fifth and final Archetype: The Hunter. As a holdover from the previous game, the Hunter is the best in long-range and precision damage. Check out the trailer below to learn more about their play style.
The Hunter’s Prime Perk is Dead to Rights, where scoring 55 weak point damage with ranged weapons extends other active Hunter Skills by 3.5 seconds. Hunter’s Mark will Mark all enemies in a 35-meter range, allowing you to see them through walls and granting 15 increased melee and ranged damage.
Combine this with Dead to Rights, and you gain a near-permanent damage boost as long as you’re dealing ranged weak point damage. The Hunter also grants a 15 percent critical hit chance against Marked enemies for all allies. If that weren’t enough, they also turn invisible and increase the effective range of all weapons.
