Remnant - From the Ashes_02

What would a Souls-like be without weapons? Gunfire Games’ Remnant: From the Ashes thankfully has more than its share with handguns, melee weapons, shotguns, rifles, etc. However, some weapons have to be obtained through specific means or events that randomly spawn. If you’re on a collection run, here’s a handy guide for finding everything.

You’ll need to go to Rigs in Ward 13 to craft boss weapons, which require a hefty investment of Lumenite Crystals. Check out our handy guide here on how to farm them.

Handguns

Repeater Pistol

Location: Ward 13

You receive this weapon from Ace after the initial reactor mission.

Hunting Pistol

Location: Hidden Grotto, Earth

There’s a chance for a random Hunter to spawn. Take the key from here and navigate the dungeon to unlock a door where the Hunting Pistol is located.

Hive Cannon

Location: Corsus

Defeat Ixillis. Use the Hivestone and seven Lumenite Crystals to craft the Hive Cannon.

Magnum Revolver

Location: Ward 13

Locate Ace’s Lucky Coin. Return it to her in Ward 13 and she’ll give you her Magnum Revolver.

Submachine Gun

Location: Ward 13

Obtain the Ward 13 Keycard and complete the puzzle in the Research section. It can be found on a table.

Spitfire

Location: Ward 13

Defeat Singe to get the Blazing Heart. Use it along with seven Lumenite Crystals and 650 Scrap to craft the gun.

Curse of the Jungle God

Location: The Ravager’s Haunt, Yaesha

Instead of the Totem Father, there’s a chance that The Ravager could spawn as a boss in this location. Defeat it to obtain the Tentacle Pod. Use the item along with seven Lumenite Crystals to craft the Curse of the Jungle God.

Long Guns

Coach Gun

Location: Ward 13

Received for free when choosing the Ex-Cultist class. Can be purchased from Rigs for 600 Scrap.

Hunting Rifle

Location: Ward 13

Receive for free when choosing the Hunter class. Can be purchased separately from Rigs for 600 Scrap.

Shotgun

Location: Ward 13

Receive for free when choosing the Scrapper class. Can be purchased separately from Rigs for 600 Scrap.

Assault Rifle

Location: Earth

You’ll find a location with a sad bit of lore and a “Monkey Key”. This can be used to open the Monkey Door which contains the Assault Rifle.

Beam Rifle

Location: Rhom

North of the checkpoint near the Monolith is a door to a dungeon. Reach the last area called “The Lost Gantry” and hold off all the enemies that spawn. Your reward will be the Beam Rifle.

Chicago Typewriter

Location: Earth

Complete the event “A Tale of Two Liz’s”. Look for the corresponding locked door and you’ll pick up the weapon inside.

Crossbow

Location: Corsus

After meeting the Iskal Queen, she’ll ask you to give her the Guardian Heart. Do so and you’ll receive the Crossbow at +8 level.

Particle Accelerator

Location: The Spindle, Rhom

Defeat the Claviger to obtain the Void Silver. Use it along with 7 Lumenite Crystals and 650 Scrap to craft the Particle Accelerator.

Ricochet Rifle

Location: Forgotten Undercroft, Yaesha

Upon entering the dungeon, the Blink Thief will steal the Ricochet Rifle. This leads to a chase across three locations where you have 12 seconds to fight it. Once the Blink Thief is dead, the Ricochet Rifle is yours.

Sniper Rifle

Location: Cathedral, Earth

After rescuing the Root Mother, head to the basement. You’ll find a few lockers with one of them containing the Sniper Rifle.

Sporebloom

Location: The Choking Hallow, Earth

If Singe doesn’t spawn as a boss fight, then you’ll fight The Ent instead. Defeat it to obtain the Spore Gland. Use the Spore Gland along with 7 Lumenite Crystals and 650 Scrap to craft the Sporebloom.

Devastator

Location: Corsus

Locate The Unclean One and defeat it to obtain the Unclean Heart. Use this along with 7 Lumenite Crystals to craft the Devastator crossbow.

Eye of the Storm

Location: Yaesha

Fight and defeat the Totem Father to receive the Totem Antler. Use this along with 7 Lumenite Crystals to craft the Eye of the Storm.

Repulsor

Defeat the Dreamer/Nightmare to receive the Dreamer’s Mana. This can be used to craft the Repulsor.

Melee Weapons

Blade Of Adventure

Scrap Sword

Location: Ward 13

Received for free when choosing the Hunter class. Can be purchased from Rigs for 450 Scrap.

Smolder

Location: Earth

When fighting Singe, destroy its tail first. This can be done by shooting it. Once its tail is destroyed, kill the boss. You’ll receive Dragon Links, which can be used to craft Smolder.

Guardian Axe

Location: Corsus

In the Ixillis boss fight, defeat both bosses at the same time or before one of them enrages. Once this is done, you’ll receive the Guardian Tentacle which can be used to craft the Guardian Axe.

World Breaker

Location: The Spindle, Rhom

Remember how minions spawn during the Claviger fight and the boss eventually spins the platform around? Keep at least one minion on the platform alive – the Claviger will absorb it after slamming its hands and spinning the platform. After this, kill the boss and you’ll obtain the Stone of the Guardian. This can be used to craft World Breaker.

Lost Harpoon

Location: Rhom

When battling The Harrow, shoot him in the knees/thighs to stagger. Do this a couple of times and eventually he’ll drop. Rush in to grab the Lost Harpoon to claim it as a weapon.

Petrified Maul

Location: Earth

Destroy The Ent’s legs during the boss fight and kill it to obtain the Twisted Heart, which can be used to craft the weapon.

Riven

Location: Rhom

Instead of the Iskal Queen, give the Guardian’s Heart to the Undying King. He’ll give you Riven as a reward.

Scar of the Jungle God

Location: Ravager’s Haunt, Yaesha

Before approaching the boss in its cave, solve the puzzle with the Bells. If successfully done, there will be a dialogue that triggers. After this, defeat the Ravager and obtain the Stalker’s Claw to craft the Scar of the Jungle God.

Scythe

Location: Corsus

Can be purchased from the Iskal Queen for 700 Scrap.

Voice of the Tempest

Location: Yaesha

When fighting the Totem Father, make sure the totem outside the boss arena is red. You can then kill the boss and obtain the Tempest Heartstring for crafting the Voice of the Tempest.

Wastelander Flail

Location: Rhom

In Rhom, a random event called The Clean Room can be found. This is essentially a dungeon where you’re afflicted by the Citadel’s Curse and steadily lose HP. Killing enemies will restore HP but you need to find the exit to survive. Upon surviving the trial, you’ll receive the Wasteland Flail.
