The enigmatic Ada Wong is, of course, back in Resident Evil 2, and she’s more enigmatic than ever. While her character remains largely the same, her backstory has been altered quite a bit. While in the original, Ada was posing as a civilian who had come to Raccoon City looking for her boyfriend, who she claimed was working for Umbrella, in the remake, she puts up a very different front. She tells Leon that she’s working for the FBI, and is here in Raccoon City to put a stop to whatever it was that caused this entire mess. Where her story goes from there is otherwise largely similar to the original Resident Evil 2.
