Resident Evil 6 gets two new gameplay vids along with Resident Evil.net announcement

GamesCom 2012 is looking to be a busy affair with Capcom making a lot of announcements, and one of such announcements, is the revelation of some new gameplay videos and a bunch of screenshots for Resident Evil 6.

They have also announced a social site called Resident Evil.net where you can compare stats with other Resident Evil 6 players, and is created mainly to enhance the multiplayer.

It’s PC-based service that displays information and stats on weapons use, enemies killed, friend’s gameplay progress, high scores for The Mercenaries, real-time gameplay progress and more.

In addition, Resident Evil 6 players can also work together to unlock new in-game content, such as costumes, by meeting certain requirements. For example, one objective has gamers teaming up to dispatch 10,000 zombies over a weekend period.

But don’t check the website right now because the site will be opened once the game is out on October this year.

The video posted below is called Cabin Gameplay, and is from Jake’s campaign. A bit of spoilers but considering it’s a huge game, I think there’s no harm in watching it. Second video is from Leon’s campaign.
